Nottingham Forest eyes Barcelona’s world cup star.
Nottingham Forest, the English Championship club, is reportedly eyeing a potential move for Abde Ezzalzouli, the talented Moroccan winger currently on loan at Osasuna. However, following the victory over Sevilla, it appears that more contributions like this will only boost Abde’s chances of cementing a place in the Barca squad.
However, according to the report, Nottingham Forest is “thinking seriously” about securing the services of the right-footed left winger, who is known for his ability to drift inside and unleash powerful shots on his favored boot.
Forest may have to turn on the charm if they hope to lure Abde away from the Camp Nou, as the youngster still harbors hopes of establishing himself at his parent club. However, given Barca’s well-documented financial difficulties, it is not inconceivable that the Championship outfit could make an offer that would be attractive enough to persuade the Catalan giants to let Abde leave.
Abde’s performances for Morocco at the Qatar World Cup, where the African side reached the semi-finals for the first time in their history, have made him a sought-after prospect.
It remains to be seen whether he will be plying his trade at the City Ground next season or whether he will be able to break into the star-studded Barcelona team.
